Battery and Water

It happened to me. Check your water level in your not-so maintenance free battery. I take it for granted that they will do it every time I send my Livina for service. One fine morning, I cannot start my engine and the whole day gone. I have to take leave for the whole day and send it to nearby workshop for simply recharging the battery. It is not until late in the evening that the whole process finished. I wish at that time that I have a jump start cable. Well a lesson to learn.

When I asked the mechanic about it, he stressed that the owner need to look after their battery since Grand Livina used a lot of electronic things in the system.

I will definitely buy a maintenance free battery after this. After all it cost RM 150 minus RM 10 for old battery. The not-maintenance free battery cost around RM 120. Not much of a difference.
